Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Moorpark

From the moment we got there they were very attentive and friendly. The head security guard helped us get checked in and made sure we were ok by checking on us. Our server was absolutely great!! This was our first time there and he made sure that he explained everything to us and helped us with everything we needed. The food was AMAZING!! To the flavors and quality of it. The manager even came to our table to make sure we were okey. This first experience will definitely have us coming back for sure. Everyone was very Friendly and the customer service was 5 stars!

Dined last night for our anniversary and was provided a lovely card (upon arrival) and brownie a la mode after our meal. Terry was our waiter for the evening. He was attentive, honest, and provided helpful recommendations. My partner got the 12 oz filet and I chose the branzino. Only comment is that the sauce on the fish was bland. It needed more taste.

For dinner, we indulged in the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection, and the buttery lobster mashed potatoes were a decadent treat. Of course, we couldn’t leave without ordering the famous butter cake—an absolute must-try! The entire evening felt luxurious and celebratory, and we truly appreciated the impeccable service and attention to detail. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, Mastro’s in Thousand Oaks is the perfect choice. We’ll definitely be back!

The lawry cut was so good, like a thanksgiving dinner, had to take home the rest! Loved the shrimp/jalapeno/corn fritters! If you have a chance to go the their bar at the front, I enjoyed the mango rum drink (more on the fruity side and didn’t taste the rum) Went for galentine’s day and was a nice meal to splurge on! The waiters were so nice and accommodating!

Jordan is an excellent server. The front desk team is lovely. Order your vegetables! So good!!
