Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Punta Gorda

Our lunches were delicious as always. The server was outstanding. My ONLY complaint is that they keep the background music too loud. Makes it hard to talk. We did ask them to please turn it down but they didn’t. I go to lunch with friends to socialize- not to listen to music.

Connors Steak & Seafood - Fort Myers exceeded all our expectations with its incredible food and exceptional service. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, bursting with flavor, and presented beautifully, making it a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and well taken care of, adding a personal touch to the overall experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great time with loved ones. We truly loved our visit and can’t wait to return for more unforgettable moments and delicious meals!

We come down to Sarasota 1 or 2 times a year and one of our favorite places to dine is Dry Dcok Waterfront Grill. Tonight we had a table overlooking the bay. The service was great. Food outstanding as usual. I had Tuscan cream sauce over linguine with grouper. My husband had the grouper boathouse tacos. Both were delicious. The grouper is always fresh. Also had the lobster bisque, very good! Can't wait til our next dinner there!

First timers at Coopers Hawk and we really enjoyed it! We joined the wine club while we waited for our table. The food was delicious (surf & turf and chicken Madeira)! Jack, our server, was awesome. Hostesses, bartenders, it was a delight to talk to all of them! All in all, a great night! We can’t wait to go again!

Both the food and the service were exceptional. I went early so the noise level was low. The ambiance was warm and friendly yet also sophisticated. I had salmon sashimi appetizer which melted in my mouth, tenderloin medallion perfectly cooked to medium rare, and the green beans were delightful (tender, but with a little crunch). The fingerling potatoes were tender but not overcooked. I wanted a cabernet sauvignon and the waiter's recommendation went very well with the meal. Even my coffee (black) was good.
