- LLaurievipLos Angeles •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe were greeted, seated and then treated to a lovely dining experience. We started with a couple of the specialty cocktails-Romarin and Nouveau Basilic: their pour was generous as our drinks lasted through our meals. A bonus of a basket of bread was brought to our table, such a rarity! Baguette, sourdough and what seamed a seasonal bread with cranberry and walnuts with beurre---seemed such a treat! Our waiter was attentive and made well informed dinner suggestions after asking us our preferences and we enjoyed the beef bourguignon; duck a l'orange and roasted chicken. - TTannisPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe enjoyed our time here. It definitely the time to make a reservation!! We each had 2 of the specialty cocktails & they were delicious! Got the nutcracker old fashioned, fireside chat, snowglobe spritz and an Ornament globe. We got the fried pickles as an appetizer to share which were good. lightly coated to go with the spicy aioli! for our entrees, we got the lasagna burger (which sounds crazy but definitely taste like it) and the parisian sandwich which was fried chicken with a brie&cranberry aioli, gruyere cheese, apples on a croissant bun! their menu states that 20% gratuity is automatically added and then they charge a credit card processing fee as well.More infoCraftsman Row SaloonPrice: Moderate• American• Old City•4.6
- NZ1NewZagatsGuidevipPhiladelphia County •496 reviews5.0Dined 5 days ago11.21.24 Our server was the best part of our visit to Founding Farmers! Her name was Casey D. and she just made us feel so great for being there, at the right time! There were so many people and we thought it might not be the right time but she said please don’t worry. All these people have been served, or their order has already been taken, so we are ready for you! They served us great food and really quickly and we were able to see our movie on time, and we were so grateful! We really just wanted a super green healthy large salad to split and that was the $18.50 all good green salad! Has so much in it! And then my friend wanted to have half margarita pizza and half plain tomato pie and— that’s exactly what the kitchen did! It was perfect, because we had the best of both worlds! That pizza was only 17.99 and it was a thick Sicilian style! But also crispy corners! My friend absolutely loved it! Then we had a great memory of the pan fried potato pierogies, —but it now comes with a spicy dipping sauce, that’s a little bit sweet, and very hot—but I think next time we would get it, not pan fried, but just steamed, with some butter, salt, or sour cream. We forgot to ask… but the pierogies are just 4 for $9.99… never realized that they are $2.50, per each! We got the potato ones… Such a good food memory! This pre-movie snack was just perfect, and it did not break the bank! Also, on the way out as we thanked them, we found the most delicious box of caramel cookie chocolate! Next time we should try the chocolate mints… Looking forward to coming here again! I also remember the purple and black kale salad being really good and we were thinking about it But we were full with all the food that we ate… It was perfect timing for the movie ! Thank you so much, Founding Farmers! Also, we love, Casey D.!!!More infoFounding Farmers PA: King of PrussiaPrice: Moderate• American• King of Prussia•4.4
- EEricSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined on 19 Nov 2024My foodie restaurant industry girlfriend and NYC raised I went to this restaurant for the first time. It was recommended on a Reddit chat for special occasions. We go out every week in the Lehigh Valley area and minus a few of our favorites, have been mostly disappointed by our meals. Well this was definitely not the case last night. From the moment our server Nicholas came to our table we knew we were in for a treat. He was very personable and knowledgeable helping us guide through the menu. Everything we had made us go WOW! including the onion soup, twin filets, scallops, and peach pie! Truly top notch taste and presentation coupled with our great server made for a truly memorable evening. We are definitely going to make the Spinnerstown Hotel a regular part of our weekly dinners!More infoSpinnerstown HotelPrice: Expensive• American• Quakertown•4.8
