Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Starlight, IN

An amazing experience indeed! Service was fantastic as the waitress provided the history of the restaurant and had suggestions for cocktails, appetizers and the main course. My husband had the 14 inch ribeye and I had the flight which included choice, prime, and wagyu cuts. Sides were crispy loaded baked potato and collard greens. It was the quickest open kitchen I have ever seen. We made sure to tell the manager on duty how much we enjoyed the experience. We will be going back for our Anniversary in May!

The food was delicious. Mussels and chilled shrimp were so fresh. Husband loved the salmon and literally ate every bite. I had the grouper cheeks with shrimp over risotto. The sauce was amazing and portion larger than expected. My old fashion was made perfectly, and Sam Adam's was available draft. The service really made the night. Waitress was prompt with everything, super friendly- you just know when someone is seasoned in their job. Her recommended dessert was ordered to go & we enjoyed it later that same evening while snug on the couch. Noise level raised a bit here and there but not at all bothersome, especially for a busy Saturday night. Ambiance works for a small group or romantic dinner for 2.

The salad, main course, and desert all excellent. I would go back just for the French Toast desert. I had a lobster/pasta main course that was excellent, and the goat cheese salad couldn't be beat. Good service on a very busy Valentine night. Parking is the only problem, so allow a little extra time to find a parking spot on or just off the busy Frankfort Ave., and bring an umbrella if it is raining. Highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions where budget is not a consideration.

My food was absolutely terrific. I was dining with my spouse and my mother-in-law. I had the filet (it was cooked exactly how I wanted), scallops, asparagus, and butter infused risotto. They gave a rose to my mother-in-law, and it made her night. Honest to God, it was the best food I've eaten this year. I loved it. Thank you for making our Valentines a great experience. We'll be back for sure.

We Had an amazing evening as always at Volare , Chef Josh Moore, GM JT, our server Brandy and their support teams are all the best of the best. This truly is a 5 star / 5 diamod fine dining experience on every level
