Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Watertown

6 of us met for brunch this morning to celebrate the New Year and a birthday. Top notch experience. Fabulous food that we shared. Jorge, our server, is terrific!! And the staff was very kind to let us bring in a Three King’s Cake so we could celebrate Twelfth Night and the birthday. We all enjoyed brunch at Bar Vlaha! We’ll be back. Thank you.

Although it is sometimes difficult to get a reservation, the food and service all always excellent.

Yummy cocktails to start. Fabulous dinner: chicory, foie gras walnut salad + octopus + lumache for me. Dining companions had the lasagna, bay scallops, and cobia. All were delicious. Katie recommended a delightful champagne to enhance the first courses. Pammy’s continues to be a gem.

First time at Branch Line. Ambience is very nice, modern and open but visually appealing. Service was excellent; knowledgeable and helpful wait-staff. Food came quickly and was nicely cooked, e.g. fish nice and soft, moist but completely done. Sauces were savory and not too salty. Delicious hot chocolate brownie dessert. Wine list is interesting and reasonably priced. My only issue is that it is pretty noisy, so don't plan on a quiet, intimate conversation. Else, definitely worth the money.

Fri, Jan 3rd: My family and I had the best experience. We requested a quiet table upstairs to avoid the more "bustling" atmosphere downstairs. The cocktails, apps, steaks, sides and wine were all mouth watering and top notch; but our waiter, Troy, made the evening that much more memorable. His attention to detail, suggestions, and overall service were impeccable. We will request his table on future visits!
