Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Amityville

Stellina is not your typical crowded Long Island Italian eatery where people go to be seen. Instead, it's like a café in Italy. The ambiance is wonderful, and the staff is easy to talk to and incredibly accommodating, taking care of special requests without hesitation. The food is fantastic—from the salads and wood-fired oven pizzas to the homemade pastas, Zuppe di Pesce, and lasagna. Stellina is worth the drive to Oyster Bay and is a standout.

Beautiful restaurant very nice view overlooking the bay beautiful food presentation, quality ,and excellent pairings& combinations ….very impressive job done by the chef, wait staff extremely well dressed, courteous and always checking on you and yet not rushing you . I am looking forward to coming back again ,absolutely love this restaurant!!!! 

We visited Hudson Garden Grill after viewing the NYBG Train Show on a Friday night and had a lovely time. The restaurant is light and airy and after being among so many people at the show it was nice to relax in peace and have an excellent meal. We were a group of five that included two young boys. Our server was skilled enough to coax our 9 nine year old to order his own meal and even joke with the waiter. We all enjoyed our meal and specialty drink. It's definitely worth checking out.

One of my favorite spots! The food is always great. Loved the grilled octopus appetizer, one of the best octopus dishes I’ve had! The meatloaf is so delicious and the fried chicken sandwich is a must! Absolutely beautiful ambiance!
