Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Bernardsville

Tried this place for the first time and was absolutely great choice. Food amazing. Waiter was Diego cool guy and had orders correct and out in decent time during a crowded valentines day weekend. After dinner turned into a nice dance room and music was great.

Upon arrival they had complimentary valet which was great due to the poor weather. We checked in with the friendly hosts and were seated in Joey's section right away. Joey our server, was one of the most energetic happy waiters we have ever had, felt like friends by the end of our meal. We ordered one of their pasta specials as an appetizer (white truffle pasta) and it was worth every dollar. For our meals, the Spinalis Cut (Rib cap) medium and Australian Wagyu Ribeye medium with mashed potatoes and crispy Brussels. Everything we ate was prepared perfect and every bite was top notch. For dessert we had the S'mores which was incredible too with a couple single espressos. Jasper Stone impressed us with its Valentine's Day decorations, flawless service and incredible food. We absolutely recommend coming here and can't wait to come back multiple times, they absolutely earned our repeat business!

Wonderful 'Open Wrap' Sushi and other food. Easy to understand menu. Server was very engaging and answered questions we had. Non Alcoholic drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely will back!!

In a word—outstanding! This was our second visit to Metropolis, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Maître d' Isaiah, who set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Our server Ira was not only attentive but also knowledgeable, offering insight into each dish with enthusiasm that made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Chef Sherry's culinary creations were a true work of art—both in taste and presentation. Each bite was a revelation, and the appetizers in particular were nothing short of spectacular. If I could describe it, it was like a celebration of flavors in my mouth— my taste buds were dancing with delight and craving more after every bite. We've dined at top restaurants all over the world- but Metropolis stands out, to us, as one of the best. Chef Sherry, thank you for making this Valentine's truly special. We can’t wait to return for another unforgettable dining experience!

Food was excellent and our server was top notch as always. Will continue to recommend to friends because I know it will always be a hit.
