I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Story Cafe, and I must say, it was an absolute gem! As someone who grew up locally but now only visits once a year, discovering this restaurant was a delightful surprise. I first came here for brunch with a friend and was so impressed that I immediately decided to bring my family back for dinner. When we arrived, we encountered an unexpected situation where another group had taken our reservation, claiming to be us. Despite the mix-up, the staff handled the situation with utmost grace and professionalism, quickly resolving it and ensuring we were well taken care of. The food was outstanding—every dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared. My friends and family all thoroughly enjoyed their meals, and the experience was nothing short of memorable. I truly hope that the exceptional quality of food and service remains consistent, as I can’t wait to return on my next visit home. Highly recommended!

Personalized and focused service by the waiters. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the ambience and the special touches.

This has become our Boxing Day ritual! We find that it always exceeds our expectation when it comes to taste and service and atmosphere. It is well worth the drive and having to pay for parking coming all the way from Maple Ridge. Highly recommend it to everyone.

It was great and good food . Our sever was wonderful also . They closed at 8 but we stayed another 15 mins .
