Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Maitland

Our third Thanksgiving in a row at Ruth’s Chris Steak House. All have been excellent. Great food and superb friendly service. Shout out to Char, our waitress, who has served us 2 of the 3 years. We will definitely be returning during the year.

I went to Tabla on Thanksgiving because I have had enough turkey in my life. It is a very nice-looking restaurant tucked inside a building with other shops and beautiful Coy ponds along the entrance walkway. For appetizers, we had the mixed Pakora and Aloo Tikki Chat. The chat was very good, the pakora was more like tempura vegetables to me, but still good and served with the traditional dipping sauces. Tabla's Homestyle Curry and Vindaloo Ghosht were our entree selections along with some Basmati Rice, Garlic Naan, and Mango Chutney. Both were delicious. The Vindaloo could only be ordered spicy, and it surly was. The wait staff were quick and efficient and provided just the right amount of service. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning someday.

The staff was amazing. The owner was so nice. She came over to our table. Talked to us for a while made us feel very comfortable. We definitely recommend anyone in the Orlando area to go to this place. Food was delicious. I felt like I was back in New York/New Jersey area.  start to finish 100!!!

First time and it was great. Will be back to try another dish!

Delightful neighborhood spot! I love the menu but always order pizza. Great Neapolitan pies! Bruschetta is excellent and garlic bites are decadent! Great cannoli!
