Vallozzi's started over 50 years ago when Helen Vallozzi was selling homemade pastas out of her home. Helen opened a take out restaurant in Latrobe, PA a few years later where her popularity exploded. In 1977, Ernie Vallozzi moved his mothers location to Greensburg where it is still open and operating today. In 2012 Ernie's son Julian expanded the tradition in to downtown Pittsburgh.     Off The Hook has excellent service and it enhances the experience! The only thing to mention is when we had prior concerns and sent private messages we got no response. Seems like the mgt/owners do not see the need to respond to constructive customer concerns surprisingly.

    We went to The Yard for brunch in the Robinson location around 10:30am on Saturday. It wasn’t overcrowded at all which was fine with us. We could actually hear each other speaking. The food was very good. We really enjoyed it and will be coming back.

    We had a fabulous meal here on Christmas Eve. The special menu was exceptional and we totally enjoyed both of our meals. The server, Aleah (sp?) was great and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Looking forward to returning!

    My friend and I had the three branches dinner . It was so delicious! Preceded by a glass of champagne. The host told us the story of the restaurant and the property. The server was excellent. We were stuffed so had no room for dessert. The chef was kind enough to wrap it to go. Worth the trip from Ohiopyle!
