A great Valentines moment; definitely a return experience

A wonderful restaurant in the delightful village of Port Costa. The ambiance and service are top notch. The food is very good, though as vegans our choices were limited. We were able to put together a meal with some salads and side dishes, but would be nice if a thoughtful, non-pasta vegan main could be added. There wasn't any protein or fat in our dinner, so we left feeling a bit hungry, though the omnivore friends we were with were quite satisfied. We are hoping that the restaurant recognizes this issue so we can return and bring other friends in the future.

Delicious and unique! The masaman curry is far more interesting and flavorful than usual. Coconut cakes are a must try if you like seafood: the taste of Tom Kha soup in a charming little coconut milk custard bites topped with jewels of seafood ceviche . Lobster pad Thai was amazing. We loved the eggplant and the regular and alcohol free cocktails too. We’re pescatarian so we skipped the meat dishes.

This was a special occasion. My sister loves Ajanta, is from out of town and hadn’t visited in a while. We were welcomed graciously, given a table by the window and then served a wonderful meal. Truly memorable. Well done Ajanta.
