Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Rowlett

A big disappointment was they no longer sell $6.00 meals packed to go. We would eat there and then get at least 6 dinners to go which would last us a long time. Now we will probably go significantly less if at all.

It was a special anniversary and Lavenfous made it extra special. Well done!

Server was great, fun, experienced. The filet was perfectly cooked although for those not expecting it, the black pepper was heavy and thus might be too spicy for some. Not overpowering and personally enjoy it. Fish was also perfectly cooked and seasoned. Filet is served with french fries, which is a strange choice and frankly underwhelming (average). Would recommend doing a potato or other side with such a good cut of meat. Overall very much an old money HP clientele, but a great experience.

Always a special experience at Pappas Bros. Attentive bar tenders while enjoying drinks before dinner, an extensive wine list, a wide variety of appetizer choices, delicious dry aged steaks and enormous deserts. What makes it even better is the service form one of the best waiters around, Scott Kline. Be sure to ask for Scott when you dine at Pappas Bros. You won't be disappointed.

Prices were in line with other high end steak house prices but the food was superior. We had a party of 4 and we tried a wide selection from the menu and everything was delicious. Their selection of wines were very good and not over priced.
