Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Aspen / Strathcona / West Springs

The music was too loud and impacted conversation, despite two requests to lower it.

Evan was our server and he was great, giving us status updates and checking up on us as our food was delayed. Kitchen was short staffed and you could tell. My crab dip was cold and I am not sure if it was to be served hot. My fries were also cold, which was not complimentary to my chicken sandwich which was warm. Food was otherwise delicious, just need more temperature control. The restaurant also appeared to be short staffed on servers, who seemed to be stretched too much. Suggest to manage the staffing levels a bit higher for the festive busy period. I also found it’s very loud and difficult to converse across our table of 6. Definitely some opportunities for improvement.

The last few times I’ve been at an Earl’s restaurant I’ve been somewhat underwhelmed by the food. We were a large group and everyone’s food came out perfectly and was enjoyed by all. Our server, Carson, was outstanding!

As always its a great staple of Calgary. You know what you are going to get. Exceptional service from many of they long term staff

Bridgette Bar has somehow managed to pair an intimidate dinner party feeling with an exclusive experience, it feels a little like a fancy dinner party hosted at a friends, but with a menu and cocktail selection that could only be accomplished by professionals. Each plate had a special, delicious twist and the t-bone steak was perfection.
