For over 40 years, our family has served traditional Cantonese food and dim sum to generations of devoted customers. We’re proud to continue that tradition, while at the same time, making it our own.For centuries, it has been Chinese custom to pair dim sum’s delicious bite-size dumplings, buns and other small snacks with freshly brewed tea for morning and mid-afternoon meals. This pairing led to the expression “yum cha,” which not only means “to drink tea,” but also symbolizes getting together with friends and family. At Little Bird, we’re starting our own tradition. We believe that “yum cha” means getting together with friends and family for dim sum at any time. Not just paired with aromatic teas, but also amazing local craft beers and wines.Talk Sum. Eat Sum. Sip Sum.

Since we first opened in 1995, Steamworks has been a favourite of Vancouver locals and visitors alike. Whether you're joining us for lunch, a drink after work, or a group dinner with friends and colleagues, we're honoured to have you with us.Steamworks gets its name from the famous Gastown steam line that runs through our premises. Our onsite brewery uses steam to fire its kettles. The instant heat of steam allows for greater brewing finesse, and most importantly great tasting beer. Good food with great friends. We had a lovely time catching up over a tasty dinner. Our server was awesome and constantly checked on us to make sure we didn't need anything else. It's absolutely a favourite go-to for any meal - business or otherwise.

If you have a hearing loss and don't wear hearing aids, this isn't the place for you. I use hearing aids with a microphone for the 1 person I'm with, but if there are a few people, it would be difficult. The open ceiling, although a trendy look, it isn't good because the noise - music, conversations, laughter - bounce off the the metal ceiling and ductwork. Food is always good here. And if you're dining at the Bridges location, sitting outside by the water is very nice. My friend had the Lobster Roll, which she said was very good, but "definitely not a 'hand-held item' as listed in the menu. I had the Spicey Ahi Tuna Burger. Very tasty and it stayed together, but very messy. We did have slight problems with our server forgetting things we'd asked for - water, and part of my meal. As someone who uses a walker, I made sure to alert them when making my reservation on Open Table, but if it's a weeknight, and not too busy, they can likely accommodate whatever accessibility needs you have as a walk-in guest. It was busier than i expected for a Tuesday night. Overall a good experience.
