- LLauraVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe River Cafe is probably the most beautiful and maybe the best restaurant in NYC. The views are stunning and the service without comparison. We had the vegetarian menu which was varied and delicious . There were a number complimentary “ gifts” from the chef in addition to the amuse bouche . The bread was excellent, beet salad was prepared table side , I had the truffle risotto and my companion the simple pasta dish which was also delicious . We both had the signature dessert - the Brooklyn bridge . I can recommend this restaurant highly . It’s expensive but worth every cent.More infoThe River CafePrice: Very Expensive• American• DUMBO•4.9
- HHeatherNew York City •5 reviews4.0Dined on 14 Oct 2024My entree was a very small portion of polenta and shrimp, about 6 shrimp on a bed of polenta. Not sure why it was called shrimp and grits. Also the shrimp had the tails on so I had to pull them out of the sauce to eat them. The service was ok, the waitress takes your order and bus boys do everything else.More infoDeal Lake Bar + CoPrice: Moderate• American• Asbury Park•4.4
