Best Restaurants with Great Beer in San Marcos

Our family loved it here. We loved learning about our forefathers as we enjoyed great food with superb service. Todd was our waiter and struck a perfect balance of timely service while also chatting with us, teaching us about the restaurant and just being a very kind and welcoming server. He was fantastic! We will definitely come again next time we are in town.

Beautiful historic venue with views of San Diego Bay from almost every table. The views- continually changing from catamarans to Aircraft carriers. History- the dining room is in the shape of the State of California. The beacon of light has been shining on the bay for almost 100 years. It is maintained by the Coast Guard. Food- delicious and beautifully presented. We had mussels, fried oysters, grilled peppers, beet salad, and the Yellow tail fish. We were pleased with all of our selections. You can also order seafood individually. Server Alicia was quite informative and attentive. Thank you for a pleasingly memorable afternoon/evening.

I have eaten here several times and I am always pleased with both my meal and the service. The waitress is delightful and friendly. If you are going before a theater performance you should make a reservation.
