Best Restaurants with Great Beer in White Rock

Another great experience at Tap & Barrel Shipyards tonight. Loved the Valentine’s Day menu!

Husband & I celebrated Valentine’s Day here, along with his birthday which we indicated on the reservation. Had reservations which I made 2 days ago - so glad we did because we got directed to a table immediately while others who showed up without reservations had quite a long wait. Food was phenomenal. We both had steak. Our waitress was attentive without being intrusive, however, we waited quite a while to receive our drink order. As the restaurant got busier, it got louder but we were still able to carry on a conversation without issue. Was my husband’s first time here and he loved the rustic ambience. There were quite a few birthdays being celebrated & even though we mentioned it to our waitress, he never got the free dessert. Overall a good experience and we will return. Thank you for a memorable evening.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner. I had the warm Brussels sprouts salad and my husband had the risotto with scallops. Both meals were excellent but if I had to choose one it would be his hands down.

It was a really romantic Valentine’s Day dinner. The pre-fix dinner was delicious and they accommodated our food intolerances (dairy and gluten). The beet salad minus the ricotta cheese lacked flavor but was better with some salt and pepper. Otherwise the food was delicious and the ambiance very cool. Thank you!

Visited Earls for their Valentine special (3 course menu @ $68 per person). The servings were generous and we were so full after! The food was so flavourful, beautifully presented and delicious. Our server was super kind and helpful, great customer service in helping us move tables as well. Would recommend others to visit.
