An exceptionally stylish supper club, civilized speakeasy, a sophisticated saloon. Each of these "personae" is housed in a soaring two-story interior distinguished by a gently curving mahogany bar, fluted columns with ornate capitals, stunning original art, plush banquettes, cozy booths, starched linens, glittering glasses, and polished flatware. Overall, the ambiance is pure 1930's and 1940's - tasteful art moderne reminiscent of the glory days of Cunard and French Line ships. Fashionable and glamorous are the hallmarks. Trendy is simply not a part of the BIX culture. What a wonderful restaurant, live music with a singer, and a table for 5 just close enough. Several stations, as it was Thanksgiving. Salads, pastas, great veggies and excellent turkey, roast beef and porchetta. Delicious desserts. And wonderful wines, all included. Excellent and attentive service from all staff, a great start to the Holidays. Enjoy!

The ambiance was great, however there was a noticeable delay between our starters and entrees coming out. We ordered oysters - which were fresh, baked cheese and warmed olives, and the focaccia was deliciously herby. Swordfish, duck, and two steak frites were ordered as mains, all arrived together however the fries were dry and cold (as compared to the steak on the same plate). Overall the food and drinks were delicious.

Went with family party of 7 which grew to a party of 9 as two driving up for Thanksgiving from LA we’re going to arrive in time. Restaurant was super flexible and able to accommodate us. Back area is listed as “outside” but feels like an indoor area, it’s covered and there are heaters that make it toasty. Great for groups. Food and service was excellent. Recommended!

As usual, “ checked all of the boxes” Bix is the consummate special evening dinner out - up scale atmosphere and ambience, classic bar, epicurean delight,attentive service, live, cultural music … a great experience.
