Best Live Music Restaurants in East Louisville

My husband and I had to celebrate Valentine’s Day on 2/17. We had never been to Steak and Bourbon. The ambiance was soothing and inviting. The service was THE best we’ve ever had. To top it off, we had the most delicious food we had ever had! I had the tender filet and he had the halibut! This restaurant is worth every penny! We might not frequent this restaurant monthly, but we will return on special occasions. We are both looking forward to the next meal!

Great experience and will definitely go again! The lobster bisque was delicious and a must order along with the shrimp scampi. If you love roasted garlic the shrimp scampi comes with a whole bulb of roasted garlic on top which was soooo good spread on the crusty bread that came with it. My husband got the mushroom Alfredo and it was so creamy and good. I got the roasted scallops with risotto, bacon, kale and lobster. I loved the scallops. They were cooked perfectly as well as the risotto. The sauce on the risotto was wonderful. I did not like the kale. It was smoky but almost had a Medicinal taste and I usually love kale, but I did not like the kale in this dish. We got the tiramisu for dessert. It was a good size as the two of us split it. It was just OK. We thought it was dense and dry with no coffee flavor. Our waiter was very attentive, very nice and outgoing. The overall atmosphere was very quiet and peaceful, low lighting and just very relaxing. 

The service and food were great as always! Great spot for special occasions.

Great meal. A little pricey and odd that there was a service charge on top of an included 20% gratuity. Weirdly long gap between the dinner course and dessert, when the desserts all seemed to be pre prepared anyways. This was a special menu on Valentine's Day ymmv.

Watch Hill Proper is a must-visit for bourbon enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Their selection of bourbon is vast and impressive, offering something for every palate. The service was exceptional, with Chef Michael Crouch personally introducing the specials and checking in throughout the meal to ensure a top-notch experience. The mussels were delicious, and the special short ribs with brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection. Every detail, from the attentive service to the expertly crafted dishes, made for a fantastic dining experience and evening with friends. Highly recommended!
