Best Live Music Restaurants in Elgin

There were 4 of us for dinner. Food was great, we had salads, short rib ravioli with vodka sauce, spaghetti and meatballs, and rosemary chicken. With dinner we had wine & beer - everything was GREAT!!! For dessert, we shared chocolate cake with ice cream and tiramisu. Again, everything was GREAT! The restaurant looked beautiful with the Christmas decorations. Music was just starting when we left, sounded like FUN! We had a 5:00 reservation to fit a busy schedule. Savanah was our server and was friendly & attentive. We really enjoyed her! When we left, we ended up buying a gift certificate for $100 and got a $25 bonus as we will be coming back again for sure!

It was amazing as per usual. We sat with Alyssa and she was a bundle of joy. There was live music and it was very lovely. The drinks were fantastic we got the Coastal Experience (made it spicy). As always it was a pleasure to dine as such a wonderful establishment. 11/10

Balmoral is our go to for special occasions. We go every Christmas season with Mr sons and spouses. The beverage menu is extensive and as big as the dinner menu. We usually get a select flight scotch. The Haggis (yes you should try it) and scotch eggs were outstanding, as were our main courses. Sara our server was excellent with just the right timing for food drink and water refills. The traditional bag pipe at the entrance welcomed you and depending on dining time, may bid you good bye. A high end memorable experience.

Edelweiss is the best German restaurant in the Chicagoland area. It’s authentic with an outstanding staff who serve you with kindness and professionalism. The food is the star. I had the roasted duck with orange sauce and it was superb. With spaetzel and red cabbage to round it out, it was magnificent.
