- AAngieSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined todayThis was a cozy and romantic outdoor dining experience. We went on a Tuesday night which made for a quiet, seemingly private experience. There were some guests who curiously looked and one couple stopped to ask about the food. The ski chalets are decorated super cute and can fit many people at the one table. It was adorned with furry blankets both to sit on and to throw over you along with cushy pillows. There was also a tall standing heater and a fire pit so it’s definitely warm enough. Our servers were very attentive and both food and drinks came out in a timely manner. The holidays cocktails were well balanced. We also chose the cheese fondue which came loaded with a plate of vegetables to dip. My favorite was the broccoli and potato. We also splurged and got the chocolate fondue for dessert. Again, very flavorful but less fruit than the vegetable plate. Both were priced at $35 each. Drinks were in the $20-$27 range which is steep but normal for a Fairmont. The grounds are lit up for Christmas with music playing as well. It was a very pleasurable Happy Hour experience and we’d definitely go back for this or the dinner experience. One thing to know is to check the restaurant days/hours in advance. You’ll need to know to check in at the bar if you go on a day the restaurant is closed.More infoSanté at Fairmont Sonoma Mission InnPrice: Moderate• French• Sonoma•4.6
- VVinceSan Francisco Bay Area •21 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWas excited to be at Brix on a Monday nite before wife left town in the am. Hostess, manager, & bartender (our eventual server,) were all welcoming, professional & enthusiastic about our visit. We chose to cork a bottle at the bar and share dishes there. The MNF game was on tv, and that was kind of cool. Started with the Caviar/Dungeness deviled eggs (five stars,) followed by the tempura green beans, (another five.). Couldn’t leave w/o trying the Friend chicken though. Perfectly seasoned and rivaling Ad Hoc on the dish itself adding mashed potato & green beans (this time steamed or roasted.) 10/10More infoBrixPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Yountville•4.4

Our waitress, Jackie, was very accommodating to my dietary restrictions. Great drinks. Have to get the potato pillows and deviled eggs. Can’t wait to go back.More infoBIXPrice: Expensive• American• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.7

You are paying for the place not the food.More infoTonga Room & Hurricane Bar - Fairmont San FranciscoPrice: Expensive• Asian• Nob Hill•4.1
- PPamelaSan Francisco Bay Area •56 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoExcellent all around, cannot wait to return! We shared oysters, tuna poke, delicata squash salad, pâté, and octopus small dishes. All were flavorful, sizeable and tasty. The steak frites was ample and yummy, too. And for dessert: the large carrot cupcake and flourless chocolate ganache cake. Amazing service, our waiter Aaron was personable, knowledgeable and fun. Great choice for a special meal, we were celebrating a birthday.More infoSalt & StonePrice: Expensive• Californian• Kenwood•4.6
