Best Live Music Restaurants in National Harbor

I went there for a birthday dinner with my son, and we sat near the bar area. We waited for some time, looking over the menu, as it was both of our first times visiting. After a while, the manager came by and asked if anyone had attended to our table. We said not yet, and he immediately apologized. By that point, we already knew we wanted the crab dip, which we had seen online, so we ordered that along with calamari. Both dishes came out and tasted amazing. However, the table seated behind us had a server who introduced himself, while we had not yet been approached by anyone. I ended up ordering through the manager, who helped us throughout the meal, refilling our glasses, bringing extra sauces, etc. I did ask a young lady for extra sauce when she brought our food. She said okay but ended up bringing the food to the table behind us. I got her attention again, and she apologized, but after that, I didn’t see her again. I even helped by holding up the ramekin through the window, hoping she understood, but she never came back. Despite this, I would visit again and give it another chance, hoping it was just a case of being short-staffed. I loved the view, especially how close it was to the water, and the happy hour prices were very reasonable. My only wish is that we had been treated and served as attentively as the tables around us. Again, Ken made my visit great—he was apologetic, helpful, and even suggested off-menu items to my son.

Superb dining experience with excellent input from the wait staff. Dined at lunch on a Federal holiday so the number of customers was unusually small -- on the other hand, it was quiet and made for easy conversation. The soup (French onion) and sandwich combo was a real bargain. This was my fourth time, including both lunch and dinner. so Josephine is clearly a favorite desintation.

Yet another wonderful dinner last night at Laporta, one of our favorites. The food is not only delicious, well prepared and delivered hot, it is visually attractive and appetizing. The light and live background music was appreciated, the service attentive and friendly and the fresh flowers on the table, a refreshing boost to our spirits on an otherwise bad weather day. We are excited about coming back soon as it is always a wonderful night out! Thank you Team Laporta!

First time dinner at Jula's - been wanting to try forever. Should not have waited so long. Outstanding food (we thoroughly enjoyed the crispy duck rolls; PEAR & CHEESE FIOCCHI (with shrimp added!; and the CREOLE SHRIMP LINGUINE - both were very delicious); not to mention the incredible, professional and courteous service (Thanks Sam!) Great Champagne selection - my wife LOVES Veuve Cliquot!! An absolutely delightful dining experience. Will have to return when weather is better (was a dark and stormy night!) Remember the views from the old restaurant, but Jula's has really upgraded the space. Will not be our last visit - ready for brunch the next time! Highly recommended!!!!
