The mill was transformed into an inn and tavern with the repeal of prohibition in 1933.Now, after an extensive industrial chic renovation, we invite you to experience our comfortable ambiance, diverse menu and hard working professional staff!*High tops & Patio tables are non reservable, but we will make every attempt to accommodate your request.*

We were there for an early Sunday supper. It was a surprise to get stone crab claw cocktail. Both my chicken croquette and my husband’s prime rib, princess cut were very, very delicious. The croquettes taste like how they would cook in Japan. The prime rib was quality meat and cooked just right. We also enjoyed the apricot walnut bread pudding. Our server, Airyn was very very knowledgeable about the dishes and gave us a thorough description of everything. The food was served fast enough surprisingly in a very busy restaurant. Overall, we were very happy.

Always a great dining experience at The Tavern. This night our server - LILY - was incredible. She constantly made sure we were enjoying our time there. We love The Tavern with its close access to concerts at the New Hope Winery.

Bucks County needs a venue like Frost. Site is tiny which is great except when you are seated near loud, obnoxious guests. Prices are high, yes. But most reviews fail to understand that there is no cover or music charge. Cocktails are crafted perfectly. The tapas were outstanding, the main entree just ok. They recognized my wife's birthday which spoke volumes because it means they read the notes left for the restaurant which are usually overlooked. Nice work. Well worth a visit. We will return

The food is always excellent, with innovative twists. The service was great, the staff is always pleasant, and you're never rushed. Brunch today, but lunch, dinner, or just drinks, a trip to The Water Wheel is NEVER a disappointment!
