Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, Amalfi Cucina & Mercato - Downtown Atlanta is a traditional Neapolitan trattoria centered around an open kitchen featuring a 6,000 pound wood-burning brick oven imported from Italy. The 170 seat dining room also has large semicircular booths, custom wrought iron chandeliers along with Juliet balconies overlooking an Italian-inspired entryway. Originating in and the true pizza of Naples in the 1600s, Vera Pizza Napoletana is 12 inches or less in size, made from simple fresh quality ingredients from the Campania region of Italy and cooked at temperatures in excess of 900 degrees in approximately 60 seconds. Just launched, a new menu which includes many fresh pastas, salads, appetizers and desserts, including beautiful imported gelato.     From the hostess greeting us to the final sip of wine, our experience was exceptional. We had a 6:45 reservation; got there at 6:40 and were seated immediately. Our waiter was kind, knowledgeable and paid just the right amount of attention and had an expediting team that kept the food and drinks coming seamlessly. Our apps and steaks were perfect, our sides were perfect and the seating was comfortable. I’d recommend Arnette’s for any occasion.

    Brandon was an excellent server. He was training another server and his attention to both ensuring a quality customer experience as well as an effective employee training was apparent. The salmon was fantastic, and the spinach + artichoke dip was a great start. If you’re around during the holidays, ask about the off menu egg nog cocktail!
