- SSandySan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe portions were huge and the price was surprisingly fair given the location. We were staying at Carneros resort and called to ask for an earlier time since 8pm was the only available time when we booked online. They were able to accommodate immediately after which we greatly appreciated.More infoThe Boon Fly CafePrice: Moderate• American• Napa•4.5

We always make sure to go to dinner at Cafe LaHaye for their great food, great ambiance and great service they consistently deliver every time we hot there. We go the to celebrate anniversaries or simply having a great dinner date. This is one you should not miss when on Sonoma.More infoCafe La HayePrice: Expensive• American• Sonoma•4.9

The paella was also fantastic, but could’ve used more shellfish and less salmon (frankly, it would’ve been better if the menu said “salmon”, it just said the dish included “market fish”). That being said, I gave the salmon to my wife and she said it was delicious.More infoEl Dorado KitchenPrice: Moderate• Californian• Sonoma•4.7

In the heart of downtown Napa, you’ll find SCALA . . . offering phenomenal food with stellar service, great energetic ambience (without being too loud) and counter seating at the full bar with all their menu offerings . . . not to mention front row/box seats at the Chef‘s counter overlooking the kitchen/crew and pizza oven ~ and don’t forget the oyster bar too . . . We’ve been more times than we care to admit (lol). Some of our favorites include . . . the Veal “Scala-ppini” marsala and mushroom sauce ($36) that will leave you wondering what you’ve been eating at other restaurants . . . to the Pork Chop Milanese lemon, capers and butter sauce ($32) that’s pounded flatter than a pancake, super moist with a slight crunch ~ Note: make sure to ask for extra sauce (on the side) as you’ll want to swim in it . . . we could keep going with the menu items, although we’ll end with their over the top Lasagna (classic) layered with bolognese and bechamel sauces ($32) and whatever you do, do not share or ask anyone if they’d like to try it, as you’ll never see it again.
