Best Open Kitchen Restaurants in Southfield

The food and customer service at Mitchell’s Fish market was excellent. You are checked on in a timely manner, and the manager came and spoke to us during Christmas and thanked us for coming. The restaurant is very beautiful and there is even a section where you can look at the fresh fish. I will definitely go here again when it’s not the holidays, but I definitely had a great experience on Christmas. 

Took my 88-year-old father and mom to dinner on Christmas eve. I was pleasantly surprised we could get a reservation the day before. The waitress was very patient and bent over backwards to make my picky mother happy. The food was excellent.

I felt horrible about reserving so many spaces, only to be let down by my colleagues. However, after realizing this, I informed our server, who responded like a champ. She quickly moved us to a more intimate table with plenty of room for us. The appetizer took a little longer than expected to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. The rest of the night was fantastic. The server was quite attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Loved her performance and would love to have her be my server again!
