Best Restaurants with a Wood Oven in St. Clair West

Serving sizes were great and the food was delicious. My extremely picky mom raved about the salmon she ordered. It was cooked to perfection and served piping hot. She hates it when salmon is undercooked or lukewarm. The pizzas were very tasty and we highly recommend the sweet everything. Overall a wonderful experience and a perfect location for a family dinner. Special mention to our server on Boxing Day, he was very attentive and his menu suggestions were spot on. Thank you for the great food and the wonderful night.

A warm welcome greets us as always which makes us feel like we are coming home to family! Mushroom and spinach salad and duck with arugula appetizers were amazing. I had the boar with pappardelle and my wife had her fave pizza, the caprese. With a glass of Kim Crawford, we left very content but too full to indulge in desert. My god that venison tartare was amazing , and the porcini crema pizza And the pici noodles with the wild boar ragu paired with a brunello transported me back to montalcino Best staff ! And the candy cane and egg nog ice creams were both delicious !

My starter was crispy fried buratta with an eggplant capanatta (and chorizo jam, which I didn't have because I'm vegetarian so they brought me tomato jam). The house made Gnocchi in Chevre Sauce, wilted spinach, moon dried tomatoes, leeks, and cacio e pepe butter, finished with toasted chevre was out of this world! My Italian friend said the gnocchi was like his mom made, he hadn't had it this good since she passed away. Excellent cocktails - very chic - and a superb wine list, warm, friendly service. To finish I had an espresso and a spoonful of my friends tiramisu. Every sip and bite was perfect from start to finish. I can't recommend this hidden gem enough!

i had a amazing dining experience at Vivo pizza pasta highway 7 location! Had the bruschetta to start which happened to be on special that day. The sourdough was fantastic. servers were all attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was very inviting. Vivo is definitely the spot for both casual dining or special occasions.
