Best Restaurants with Good Vegetarian Options in Astoria

I was very happy to find that there were reservations available last minute on Christmas Day. From the moment we walked through the door, everything was clean, and the staff was extremely friendly. They prepared our table and set us quickly. We immediately were graded at our table with water for everyone and asked if we had any questions. We ordered the appetizer sampler platter, which was absolutely delicious and a great value. Our table ordered the steak fajitas, the shrimp Diablo and two combination platters with different tacos (steak, chicken, and carnitas). Everything was absolutely delicious, including the chips and salsa that we were given. Our waitress was phenomenal!!!!! Answered all of our questions, our drinks were never empty, we had a great seat, the chairs were extremely comfortable and table space was good. I highly recommend this restaurant. You get a good quantity and quality of food for the price that you pay, great location, beautiful restaurant, bathrooms were very clean and this will be on my New York City itinerary each trip going forward. 

We dined at a table of 6 right before the Christmas holidays. The atmosphere was perfectly lit, not too bright or too dim. Our table was not rushed and they let us stand at the bar for a while beforehand even though our table was ready. The appetizers were great, as were the mains, and the dessert! Great wine selection. Loved the vibes, the waitstaff could have been a little more attentive, but it looked like a busy night.

Yes, and yes. I'm by no means a food critic or influencer. As a matter of fact, I will say that trying this food has given my mouth a whole new level of happiness. We had the curry cauliflower in cashew sauce, along with the stir-fried vegetable platter, and they were both delicious. The creamy texture of the curry cauliflower and the way the flavors melted in my mouth were excellent. The staff was amazing and attentive. The dessert (Pecan chocolate chip) cookie was a hit for me with their Chai tea added to the experience. Great flavors and healthier for you. . .I will be back.

Staff very pleasant. Vegetable choices great and delicious. We really liked this place a lot - perfect for casual meal-we will be coming back
