We are excited to welcome you to First & Oak! We offer outdoor seating on our heated patio & inside our intimate dining rooms. Seating is limited, a credit card is required & will only be charged for cancellations. Please allow us a minimum of 24 hours prior to avoid any cancelation fees.

We offer two dining experiences: Traditional Three Course or a Chef's Five Course Tasting Menu.
Parties of 6 or more please call. When reserving standard (indoor) or outdoor seating (Please be mindful regarding the weather, it tends to get chilly as the night goes on), please choose which experience you would prefer & let us know of any dietary restrictions, Vegan request needs a days advance notice.

First and Oak is located inside the Mirabelle Inn, & was awarded a Michelin Plate designation in 2022. We offer a seasonally-inspired menu that highlights local & organic ingredients prepared in a thoughtful manner. Our dining room operates with the mindset of warm compassionate attentive service.

Offering choices for each course, this menu captures the level of technique being employed by our kitchen team each and every day, and allows guests to engage with our service team to create a casual but elegant dining experience. The Chef's Tasting Menu is the signature dining experience at First & Oak - highlighting our most seasonal preparations, featuring produce from the farms in Santa Ynez Valley, seafood from off the California Coast and other local specialties. Chef Ivan Coronel and his team's level of execution and attention to detail is apparent in every dish, offering delicious menu options for each course, allowing guests to engage with the menu each night. Wine pairings are offered along with the Chef's Tasting Menu on a nightly basis. Advance notice on any dietary restrictions or preferences is always appreciated, in order for us to create exceptional menu options for each of our guests. Beautiful space wonderful service lovely meal. The ladies at the table begging us kind of killed the ambiance with their loud and boisterous conversation which kind of overtook the whole space.. but never the less the experience was great. The roasted cauliflower with truffle and filet was 5 stars and the chocolate mousse with honeycomb was delightful.

Very nice staff all around. Limited menu, but everything was tasty, especially the dessert and amazing bread. Good date spot for grown ups. Wine pairings were solid.

We've been before and this time was not as amazing as our first experience. A lot of a wine paring is the service. Why this wine was serviced with this course, that was lacking. Even an experienced server knows if they had cream with their first cup they will need it with the second. I'm sorry it took so long to get a refill I needed to make a fresh pot after we sat for 20 minutes waiting. Then not to get cream. $600 for 3 people for amazing food and service I have no problem with.

This was our second time visiting First and Oak and it was once again a phenomenal experience. If you sit outside you have a beautiful view down the neighborhood to the hills and mountains in the distance. The food is always superb. We love to see the creativity in the seasonal menu and the wonderful piece of art that chef brings together. This will always be a go-to for us when we visit Solvang.

The flavors were vibrant and the cuisine engaged all the senses leveraging color and texture. I had gone there with my daughter during restaurant week and enjoyed it so much I really wanted to find a reason to go back again. When a friend I had not seen in many years came to town from Laguna Beach that seemed like the perfect opportunity. She is a foodie and enjoyed it just as much as I did.

Some of the dishes served were very good. However all of our entrees were over cooked and very salty. The wine pairing was interesting but not great.
