   Five Crowns was beautifully decorated for Christmas and had Carolers singing for each table. It was magical. The menu was limited because of the holiday, but with enough variety for everyone. If you like Prime Rib, you won't be disappointed.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience upstairs this holiday season. The food was terrific, wonderful staff, and we enjoyed the white table cloth dining upstairs had to offer, which was reminiscent of the older days of The Five Crowns before it became more casual to accommodate the masses. I live down the street and I look forward to dining here more frequently after this most recent dinner.

   The ambience with carolers and decor and service were excellent. The food was disappointing, with overcooked beef and fairly tasteless duck. We usually have a more tasty meal.

   We have been coming to Five crowns since 2010 for Christmas. So disappointed to the point we may not come again next year. First, the reservation booking asked what area you want to be sat and the hostesses didn’t schedule accordingly. In fact we were sat 45 min past our reservation time and they said we would have to wait longer if we wanted a different table. Once we were sat, the waiter informed us that they have reduced the menu and created a two course dinner and we couldn’t order off the menu (from the bar) or apps. He said that last year the kitchen couldn’t get orders out timely. Under this “new strategy” the quality of the food and service suffered. Our server provide terrible service. Not once did he ask if we wanted cocktails. I. had to ask for bread three times. The server didn’t poor our wine or champagne once. Two of the three desserts came out and we had to ask twice for the third. Never asked if we wanted coffee or after dinner drinks, which we did. We come to five crowns to have a special dinner and not a cafeteria style dinner. We want cocktails and apps, full size salads, and coffee with our dessert. Our waiter spent a total of about five minutes with us. This may not only be a waiter because it’s a total management issue. They have expanded to put more tables than the capacity of the kitchen can handle. So rather than reducing the tables they reduced the quality of the food and overall experience. Disappointing!

   We go every year around this time of the year as family gathering. This year we realized one of the prime-rib we ordered wasn’t really a rare, it was more like medium rare but we did not complain to them at the time because they were not around. At check out they gave us wrong check and after we provided card, it was a different amount and again no one was around so we had to wait for that too. So final check was the correct one but no apologies, it was just an excuse we heard after the wait on that clarifications which was kind of sad to see handled that way….

   Our dinner was amazing! Festive atmosphere, wonderful caroling singers, and outstanding cuisine! The smoked old fashioned is full of flair and was a ton of fun. Our servers, Rana and Juan Carlos, took amazing care of us! Best dinner out of the year! Well done!

   This was our first time going during the holidays. It’s was absolutely fantastic! Our server, Roni was very attentive, along with the rest of the staff. The Christmas Carolers added to the wonderful atmosphere.

   We had our family Christmas Dinner here this year & managed to get a private room upstairs. Evan was fantastic taking care of our family. This was a second trip for the week as we celebrated a birthday dinner at FC on Wednesday as well. A disappointment that we were not able to get the Christmas goose on Saturday as we were told it would be available since we missed it on Wednesday...my wife's favorite. I'm not sure if the kitchen was short staffed, overwhelmed, or there was new people, but many of the dishes at our table were not cooked as requested. Both the duck & ribeye were overcooked..& we hate to send back knowing it will be thrown out. The fingerling potatoes were also quite undercooked. It won't dampen our enthusiasm for return visits, but a bit of a bummer for our family Christmas dinner.

   Waitress seemed new but nice. Didn't like that Dec was a set menu. My guest told me the men's restroom didn't have soap. Nevertheless still a mostly good dining experience. Love the carolers for the holidays

    christmastime is the busiest time for this restaurant. the carolers were fantastic and so was the yummy prime rib! We try to go most years in December.
