We attended the dinner theater, The Christmas Carol. The tables were shared. We had four other couples at our table. Everyone was delightful. The show was fun and entertaining. Very inclusive. We had a great time.

The Dickens show was fun and well done. Sort of like community or dinner theater. Great way to kick off the Christmas season. Everyone at my table had prime rib and they all loved it. Not liking prime rib, I got the Jadori chicken. It was truly inedible. The flavor was off and it was impossible to cut. I’m sure that this was a one-off having been going to Five Crowns for years, I’m used to high quality food. There were plenty of delicious appetizers and a great crème brûlée for dessert. Overall great night - because of the show and company.

The Yorkshire pudding was burnt and the newly added Ora salmon with buckwheat soba noodles had hot spices in the dashi, which did not go well with a rare cabernet we brought. The carollers and decorations were wonderful Christmas season touches.

Service was very good. Food was good not great but I guess my version of a good Thanksgiving dinner is not shared by everyone. They also had options which some in our party were happy about and preferred to pass on a traditional turkey dinner. I think they could do a better job on a holiday like TG with stuffing and mashed potatoes of which, both were weak. I had to hunt the waitress down to get some cranberry sauce which was also just ok. This restaurant is known for it's prime rib. I tasted it from my son in law's dinner and I would rate that very good. Lobster bisque-good-not great. Overall not as good as I had expected and although i would eat here again, I would not eat another Thanksgiving dinner here.
