While all levels feature the same menu, the main dining room has a more sophisticated ambiance and Rafters on the second floor has a more casual lodge appeal. Descend to the lower level to find the secret passage that takes you to the wine cave, and Thirty 3, a speakeasy-style bar and lounge.     The food was excellent. My husband never had octopus before. He was impressed with it. Steak was cooked perfectly. The bacon macaroni and cheese was wonderful. Creamy, and full of bacon flavor. Hazelnut gelato for dessert was a perfect end to the delicious meal. They even put a candle in the gelato to celebrate my husbands birthday. Will return for special occasions.

    The food is superb. The staff is very attentive for your needs. They watch your reactions and react to what they think you may need or want. Truly old style restaurant service. That alone I tip well for. The superb food and service. Noise is a little loud, but it is an old building with a nice ambiance. Take in the atmosphere, ambiance, and view along with superb service, and you will have the perfect experience. The only negative I have is the table downstairs near the middle, and the wine bar area is tight and has a lot of traffic. I was at that table the first time, and it was annoying the amount of wait persons and people squeezing by the table.

    Holiday lunch with friends, CG was completely full and they handled it beautifully. Food was prepared and presented perfectly and service was at the usual top notch level. I continue to be impressed and will happily return soon.

    Ok- finally made it here for my moms 71st Birthday! We had a really enjoyable dinner! They needed a place like this in between Morristown and Hackettstown. Solid Food and the Ambience / music made the night.
