At the helm, Head Chef Chris combines thoughtfully sourced ingredients supplied by regional growers with his talent for Thai flavours and the result is some truly delicious fair. Sticky Bao Buns, drunk dumplings, sour salads top the menu. Wash it down with a Daylesford beer on tap, a cheeky cocktail or choose from the extensive wine list featuring local growers.     Went here on a first date last night, even though the company was meh, the food was the most incredible food I’ve had, the pasta (which name I cannot pronounce) was orgasmic, my date had fish (he strange) but he boasted about it and cleared his whole plate, we also had chips incase but we did not need them because our food was SCRUMDIDILYUMPTIOUS. The service was amazing, staff checked in on us frequently and gave us a new water once we devoured ours (we are fish). Dessert was bomb, it was the strawberry sundae and oh my gosh I was about to leave my date and take that sundae home instead. The people next to us were also definitely on a first date so that provided some entertainment, so awkward lol. Overall great restaurant, so beautiful in there, very gorgeous. The food is top notch and the people are exquisite. 10/10 would munch again

    When we arrived our table wasn’t ready, staff were not very accommodating accepting us to just stand around waiting… we enquired about having a drink at the bar and were told no, an empty table out the front (we noticed and went back to ask if we could at least sit there and order a drink) it was a full 20 Minutes later till we were seated at our table. No apologies or hospitality shown. Food and drinks amazing, will be back but the service could use some improvement.

    Today’s lunch is the second time we have eaten at the woodhouse and while the meals were very good the menu hadn’t changed in that time. It would be nice if the meals are providing seasonal rates that the menu could change in that time.

    Frangos provided us with a great choice of food options. Meals were tasty and well presented. Service was excellent. Attentive and courteous staff. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience and we would go back there again .
