Trained in traditional Japanese cookery, this 23 year veteran chef is on his way to introducing a new wave of Japanese delicacies to the States. As close as you can get to Japan itself, this chef brings his revisioned menu, with patron favorites, and extensive sake list. The desert and a la carte menu is designed by their French trained chef. The wagyu beef is of A5 rank.  The seafood, carefully selected to be of highest quality. Food that is not only delicious but also good for the health.

The food presentation is nothing short of artful—each dish is plated with such elegance and care that it’s almost too beautiful to eat. The ingredients are impeccably fresh, with flavors that highlight the quality and thoughtfulness behind every creation. The staff is equally impressive, offering courteous and attentive service that made me feel truly welcomed. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for an exceptional dining experience, Eigikutei is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return!

    Too often in LA restaurants are priced like they are a once or twice-a-year super high-end blowout when they're just a nice or sort-of interesting dining experience. Redbird is where we go when we want to treat ourselves to a truly exquisite evening. Their wine list is incredible, but we often get distracted by the beautiful cocktails. Menu is small and crafted at a super high level by chef Neal Fraser. Beautiful location, though it can be chilly on winter nights. We had to ask to move to a table closer to the heat lamps. Service is impeccable but not too much. We're always wowed and leave feeling special and deeply satisfied. Simply put, Redbird is our favorite fine restaurant in Los Angeles. Happy hour is a great deal here if you want to start small and check the vibe.
