This hidden gem in Hollywood Blvd. If you blink you will miss it. Pass by it many times until today, wow what I been missing out all these years. The restaurant takes you back to an old Hollywood, it’s a time capsule full of memories of days gone by. Musso & Frank preserves the service and food quality traditions of the past when no cellular phone service was available. The hostess, waiter, busboy, chef all served their best. Steaks A-1, Drinks and wine A-1, ambiance A-1. Thank you, I will be back ;).

Outstanding food, ambiance, and service. We enjoyed everything and some items were simply perfect. The Buffalo Mozzarella with Garlic bread and anchovies were mind blowing. Grilled octopus was sensational with the subtle potato salad underneath. Oxtail Ragu was great, could’ve been a bit saltier. Braised Veal Cheek was great and well made with the mashed potatoes, yet the flavor of the beef got buried a bit by the potato. We got a well done hanger steak, it was a bit dry, and we’ll for sure get it medium next time. Crispy Duck was easily one of my favorites as the sweet sauce and the lemon combination it was served with definitely gave it an adventurous taste that makes you full in the best way possible. The desserts were simply magnificent, starting with the Torta Della Nonna, Pistachio Gelato, and our top favorite item, Apple Borsellino. Overall, an amazing experience for a great price in Los Angeles. 9.5/10

Dining Experience: I visited Lawry's The Prime Rib with my parents on the evening of the 28th at 4 PM. This review reflects my personal impressions of the meal and service. Reservation Deposit ($25 per person): A $25 deposit per person is required when making a reservation, but it’s applied directly to the final bill, which feels fair and ensures a secure booking. Salad Service ($0): The salad service was complimentary, but it came with a unique presentation, much like a small performance. It reminded me of the noodle-pulling show at Hai Di Lao, adding a touch of fun to the meal. Lobster Bisque ($15): The lobster bisque was elegantly presented. The soup was poured from a small pot into a bowl that already held fresh lobster meat. The flavor was rich, and dipping the pre-dinner bread into it was a delightful touch. Lawry Cut Classic Medium-Rare ($66): The 10-ounce classic Lawry cut steak, cooked medium-rare, was incredibly tender and juicy. The portion size was generous, making it perfect for sharing among three people. The mashed potatoes served on the side had a traditional and comforting taste. Lobster Trio ($65): The three lobster tails were exceptionally fresh, with tender and firm meat. A squeeze of lemon enhanced the flavor beautifully. The server highly recommended pairing it with melted butter, and it truly elevated the dish. Creamed Spinach ($9): The creamed spinach was average in taste. It’s worth trying, but it didn’t stand out. Creamed Corn ($9): This dish was sweet, flavorful, and satisfying. Every bite was rich and indulgent—definitely a must-try! The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. There are so many "fancy" restaurants in Los Angeles where the food is disappointing, but this was not one of them. Having known about Republique for many years and seeing it on many "best" lists I was prepared to be disappointed, but it met my expectations. My parents and I were very pleased with our meal, the service, and the ambience which is beautiful. It qualifies as one of the best restaurants we've eaten at in Los Angeles, and is deserving of its designation as one of LA's top restaurants.
