Lokma, which means “a bite” in Turkish, opened in Feb 2018 and is located in the Outer Richmond. We serve a fresh Californian and Turkish fare while serving our guests with warm hospitality in our bright and open space. Please note that we allow 15 15-minute grace period for reservations, we ask that you please call if you are going to be late. Reservations will be marked as no-shows after 15 minutes. Due to the high number of no-shows and last-minute cancellations, we now have a 24-hour cancellation window for parties of 6 or more. We will require credit card information through OpenTable. There will be a $10 fee for no-shows or late cancellations per person for a party of 6 or more.Your table will be reserved for 1 hour 30 minutes.

Beautiful Modern Mediterranean restaurant by Chefs Laura and Sayat (Star Chefs and San Francisco Chronicle Rising Stars) at the Main Parade Lawn in the heart of the Presidio National Park. The restaurant's menus feature Presidio-inspired seasonal craft cocktails, a progressive wine menu, and a cuisine that balances the comfort of familiar Mediterranean flavors with California sensibilities. In cohesion with the Presidio National Park, the design features soft, natural colors; repurposed furniture items from the Presidio; and a mural and a hand-drawn wall paper by Bay Area artist Emily Parkinson.     Food and service were excellent. Lunch: We had Breaking bread (pita with about 6 spreads-don't miss that.) Spring tabouleh which was so unique and much better than what you usually get at mediterranean restaurants. Excellent flavor and texture. Criapy lamb riblets. a stuffed onion dolma which was fantastic. the only dish we were not crazy about was the turkish lamb dumplings in a tomato sauce. Service was impeccable and friendly. Highly recommend this and eat family style so you can taste alot.

    I always love the level of care the staff give you, I really wish I got my servers name, he was absolutely delightful! Food came out very fast and everything was delicious. I also got the virgin pina colada and one of the best!

    My group of six ate four appetizers, five entrees, two wines and a dessert; every single dish was delicious. The server was solicitous and the manager was outstanding in getting us a quiet tablepointing out wines that paired well with the dishes we ordered. Notably, the Bahsteeyah was delicious and the hummus was creamier than any I've ever had. Each of us ready to return.

    Wow. I haven’t had Turkish food this delicious since I spent a month in Istanbul. We had small plates, large plates, wine, and dessert. Everything we had was exquisite, authentic, and exploding in flavor. The staff had excellent recommendations and a sense of passion and care about the food, wine, and service. We did dinner and learned that they also do a traditional Turkish breakfast Thursday-Sundays. I will be back!!
