Located in Fulton Market District within Chicago’s bustling West Loop, Formento’s is an Italian restaurant steeped with the bright and fresh flavors of Italy. Created as a nod to the owner’s grandmother, guests will experience an array of dishes from house-made pastas, seasonal antipasti and wood-fired fish and steak.                                                                                           Been here several times and it never disappoints. Usually I go for the Carbonara but decided on the Porchetta special instead. I am so glad that I did. Done to perfection, and exquisite taste.

                                                                                          Love this place! Food is delicious, we got the Brussels, Paccheri pasta, and a Caesar salad. I’m already craving it again. Make sure to ask for no anchovies in the Caesar, but other than that it was delicious! Will be back!

                                                                                          Amazing food and fantastic customer service. When we checked in for our reservation they asked if we were attending a show that was taking place at the United Center. We were. They said they’d be sure to have us out on time and they did! We were a party of 8 and everyone raved about their food and experience. Will be back. Highly recommend.

                                                                                          Review in a nutshell: Excellent food. Sides were great. Lamb chops and steak were delicious & done perfectly. Pasta was good but came to table almost cold. Dessert was delicious. Cocktails were well done albeit a bit of a shorter pour than other restaurants at same price point. Service was outstanding. Be aware that valet availability is not reliable. I called ahead of visit and was told that valet is available EVERY night. Arrived on a Sunday night to no valet. Hostess apologized and said they had expected to have valet available. Parking is terrible in the area so just be prepared for that.
