Guests are invited to settle in and enjoy the classic ambiance, whether for a post-work drink, a romantic evening, or a gathering with friends. The Piano Bar Upstairs also serves a full dinner menu for those looking to indulge in a complete dining experience. We invite you to savor the very best of a New York City classic. Our live performance schedule is: Tuesday - 6:30 PM-9:30pm; doors open at 5:30pm. Wednesday - 6:30pm-9:30pm; doors open at 5:30pm. Thursday - 7pm-11pm; doors open at 5:30pm. Friday - FIRST PERFORMANCE: 5:30-7:30pm; doors open at 5:30pm. Friday - SECOND PERFORANCE: 8pm-11:30pm. Saturday - FIRST PERFORMANCE: 5:30pm-7:30pm; doors open at 5:30pm. we ate upstairs in the piano bar which is incredibly charming. the singer who was also the bar tender was sooooo good. the food was good but not great; what you expect from a pub. the toffee pudding was cold and tasteless. that was a disappointment. they definitely need more servers. at least one more server. you have to wait a long time. The place is so historic. you’ve got to love that.

Love visiting a place so steeped in history. Food was good but service sub par. Our server was terrible. Upon ordering we didn’t see her again until we had to flag her down for the check. We wanted to order additional items but she was nowhere to be found and the only other server left in our area was so busy it took so long we decided against ordering.

Another Great Experience at Frances Tavern. The Hostess greeted us warmly with a smile and was very welcoming, also acknowledging our family was celebrating a Birthday. Our Service was Wonderful, Kind and very attentive. The Food and Drinks were delicious and a culinary delight.
