The name GAONNURI represents our placement in what we believe is the center of the world, both physically and figuratively. Located in the heart of New York City, a city that represents the intersection of the finest cuisines and eclectic cultures, GAONNURI seeks to gather people of all backgrounds to share in a traditional Korean dining experience. We hope that the authenticity of the food and the enjoyment of the dining experience will invite patrons for generations to come.     Everything was amazing. It is hard to find. Lyft driver didn’t know where it was and set us out. We had to walk around to find it. Need a sign at the The corner with the restaurants name and an arrow pointing in the direction we need to go. Other than that. This place and staff was perfect for our anniversary dinner.

    The restaurant and its staff were terrific-particularly the manager Jason and all of the waitstaff, particularly Lee. We had many requests for the reservation and everyone was gracious and accommodating. The food was excellent; we had a range of dishes , all of which were well prepared and delicious. We were a group celebrating a birthday. It was a perfect venue.

    Tester's menu or set comes with BBQ experience. Can have great food and BBQ show in one. Tasty and entertaining.

    Thank you Gannouri for another fantastic evening of dining! We waited eagerly for your reopening on 1 December and enjoyed dining twice since then. The BBQ marinated Kalbi, the seafood pancake, beef chapchae, seafood soondubu were excellent and delicious as always, the service is top notch and the ambience on the 39th floor is unbeatable on top! The best Korean BBQ and Korean restaurant in NYC!
