   Food was good, slightly disappointed with the service. Missed our olives for the table, ordered chips with the waiter as with the olives and then was missing from the main meal and had to ask again. Food was good though.

   Superb food well cared for from a service perspective ambience lacking as we were sent upstairs when it was empty and not given thee choice of being downstairs but it livened up quickly and we enjoyed ourselves

   Nice ambience appreciated by our party of five. We were accommodated downstairs having been told that the upper floors were not serving lunch (no reason given) The food was as expected - well cooked and authentically German, but without real gourmet flair, large portions, served quickly, nice deserts. A good place to lunch with friends in an excellent location. Also, the building itself is remarkable.

   Absolutely delicious food from Starter to Dessert. The only thing that I don’t like is the time limit… your booking is for 1 1/2 hrs only… so once you finish with dessert the waiter will remind you that they need the table back which did not sit well with us as we were having a great after dinner conversation and had to abruptly stop and leave.

   Lovely meal with my wife. Food was exceptional - every dish exceptional and we don’t often say this. Lovely staff and beautiful dining room. We will definitely be back!

   Despite booking was given a table forb2 beside a noisy group, in a walkway next to the toilets. “The enchanted grotto” or what? However after asking to be moved had a great table in a more spacious and quieter part. Why we weren’t out there first who knows? The food and service however made up for that issue as Borge were very good
