Glenn's Kitchen is a hidden gem in downtown Atlanta in the iconic Glenn Hotel. You cannot beat the restaurant's beautiful and relaxed vibe and living room-like bar area. Our restaurant is known for its American comfort food with a Southern twist. We offer a wide variety of appetizers, including our Deviled Eggs served with sweet and spicy jam, and entrées such as our famous Shrimp and Grits, Tender Braised Short Rib Sandwich, and Roasted Chicken with Whipped Yukon Gold Potatoes, grilled asparagus, and finished with a garlic herb jus. Waiter was clearly more focused on checking his social media and chatting with his coworkers than focused on providing quality service. It took over 15 minutes to get the wine and steak knife I requested for my guest….all the while the restaurant only had two other tables occupied. Wasn’t crowded at all. For the price of the food that can be purchased elsewhere , at least provide quality service. Ambiance and decor was nice!

Ambiance was good and our waitress was also very good. However the food didn't meet expectations. The warm crab dip was very good. However I ordered a NY Strip steak and it was par for a steak. Tasted like it wasn't seasoned at all and the broccoli has a burnt taste to it.

The chicken wings and hummus apps were both good. The fish sandwich was just ok. Same with Braised Short Rib sandwich. The waitress could not figure out how to bring 1 of our guests just plain red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar for his salad and brought the wrong dressing 3x. Plus, he ordered his salad with grilled chicken and it came without it. He had to remind her and she then brought it 10 minutes later on a plate. #fail

We were traveling to Atlanta and arrived at the Glenn Hotel at 8:30pm, our reservation at Glenn’s Kitchen was at 8pm. Although we were late, the staff was extremely accommodating and served us like we were some very important people! Food was delicious. Jeremy was our server and took excellent care of us. We chose the crab dip appetizer, shrimp & grits and salmon entrees… all recommended by our server who did not steer us wrong… yummy! The Glenn Hotel and Glenn’s Kitchen have a nice vibe and are especially beautiful. We will definitely return!

The food was very good. The waiter wasn't. He said he would remember our orders without writing them down. He didn't and had to check with us to reconfirm the orders.
