   Went for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Travis our server was fantastic and had a great experience. Highly recommend the wagyu gyoza, the gnocchi and duck fat fries, and the oak fired carrots were an all time favorite. Steaks are always great, was a wonderful time. Do not skip the chocolate chip cookies!!

   For our second anniversary, we decided to visit this establishment. We drove for 50 minutes to reach downtown and arrived punctually for our reservation. Although there were two hostesses present, we had to wait for another staff member to escort us to our table. Given the significance of our anniversary, I preferred not to be seated directly next to the area where the kitchen staff frequently passed by. We had to return to the front and request a different table by the window, which seemed rather inconvenient. The service provided by our waiter and staff was exemplary, as he thoroughly explained the specials featured on the menu. We began our meal with octopus, which was both fresh and accompanied by a delightful spicy kick. I ordered the ribeye steak medium rare, paired with roasted carrots, while my wife chose the chef's special handmade pasta with lamb. The carrots were perfectly cooked and complemented by a tangy vegetable. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her dish, which was served hot and fresh. However, my ribeye was disappointingly lukewarm, with the center cold. It seemed as though the steak had been taken directly from the refrigerator and had not reached room temperature prior to cooking. After sending it back, it was reheated. Given the price, the meat was somewhat tough and chewy, and I had to trim away some sinew. Nevertheless, I was quite hungry and managed to finish it all. This establishment may be suitable for a drink and a light snack, but it is certainly not recommended for steak.

   This place definitely has a vibe and it’s kinda electric. The service was amazing and so was the food. The music is loud but it helps set the scene. Sat near the wet bar and we had fun watching the people make the food. They add to the atmosphere and present some fine dishes. So glad we came in while in Denver.

   It was a cold night, and once I took my coat off to sit down I was a bit chilly inside. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they definitely work as a team here. The look of the restaurant is nice, modern and chic. However it’s very loud, I could hardly hear my fiancé across the table. Gyoza and dick fries were our favorites! The steak and Mac and cheese were good, but nothing we would brag about. Overall our experience was pleasant

   We had such a great experience at Guard & Grace. The waitstaff was attentive and made great suggestions for our meal. We shared oysters, the filet flight, mushrooms, truffle mac and cheese, and the brussel sprouts. Everything was excellent; a great dinner to end our trip to Denver. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to locals and travelers alike.

   The service was good but the crab cake and New York strip was subpar. The crab cake had a pasty texture and a very strong taste. The New York strip was bland and very chewy.The shrimp cocktail was very disappointing in presentation.

   Wonderful family dinner celebrating my dad’s 85th birthday. Everyone from 6-85 enjoyed. Juan provided excellent service and recommendations. We were seated in the back and that helped ensure a nice low noise level.

    The wagyu filet was fantastic and some of the best steak I’ve ever had. We’ve eaten here before a few times, and the food is very good. We were bummed that the tuna tacos were not on the menu this time around as it was a favorite menu item for us. The reason I give it three stars is for a few reasons. The first reason being being the equitable kitchen charge added onto the bill at the end. For this expensive of a restaurant, I would expect that to be built into the price of the food. The other reason being that we were there to celebrate a special occasion, and while the staff congratulated us, there was no complimentary dessert or champagne. We frequently dine at high end restaurants around Denver and Guard and Grace is one of the few that won’t throw in a complimentary something to make you feel special. It’s definitely a bummer considering how expensive it is. The final reason I gave three stars is because every single time we have shown up on time for our reservation, we end up having to wait about 10 mins to be seated. The entrance gets crowded and it can start to feel claustrophobic.
