    It's so noisy. It's a great atmosphere, but the noise level is high. Loud music doesn't is not always required for a fun, lively ambiance, nor does it mean authentic dining. In regard to the food, the Ropa Vieja's portion has seemed to reduce over the years. In the last few years, it would appear that beef and rice are strategically proportioned with measuring cups. Giving the dish a "we're on a budget & tired of serving this dish" appearance. The Ropa Vieja presentation used to look authentic, meaning rice and beef were neatly "thrown" on the plate. Giving the dish a "made from mom's kitchen look with a Martha Stewart touch".

    Habana in Costa Mesa is a gem! The food here is consistently delicious and has become a highlight of our yearly Friendmas dinner with friends each December. The drinks are flavorful, perfectly crafted, and pack just the right punch—in the best way possible. The service is always on point, with attentive staff and impressively fast service. For those who love visual cues when deciding what to order, checking out their menu online is a great tip! The ambiance is equally impressive. The outdoor setting is stunning and adds so much to the experience. Habana truly nails the combination of great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere!
