   UPDATE: Following my initial review, Hard Rock immediately reached out to apologize for our experience and make things right. I look forward to giving the restaurant another chance with a hopefully improved experience. If nothing else, the level of customer service provided in having management personally reach out to rectify a less-than-stellar experience went a long way in my book. Unfortunately not impressed with this restaurant or the dining experience at all. Hard Rock Cafe was identified as a “partner restaurant” for the National Theatre and based on experiences at their other locations, our party expected something more. What we got was a grungy-feeling restaurant, tables that were jammed in (but empty), and mediocre food.

   I had a big party and the service was great. I ordered a flat bread and a bowl with salmon. The margarita flat bread was larger than I expected and was really delicious. I tasted the bowl but brought it home because I was full. The rest of the party enjoyed their food as well. They ordered ribs, fries, nachos, burgers and the Messi chicken sandwich, and salmon. Looking forward to going back.

   We went to celebrate three birthdays. 9 women and a 7 month old. The service was fabulous and we had an amazing time! Get the Unity Card. I have had one for a year and you get points and discounts. Wear your pins, shirts , hats and get special treatment!

   Our experience was really bad, the server took too much time to bring our plates and there were just 2/3 Tables in all the restaurant so it was not crowded to take too much time in our orders. I made the reservation and I indicated that was a bday celebration and the server told me that all the personal were gone to celebrate singing a bday so just gave me an ice cream. Poor quality of food and drinks and service.

   Our server Marty was great. I ordered the salmon and when it came out my green beans and mashed potatoes were cold. My salmon was perfect temp. Prices are steep, but normal for DC. I do recommend this place. My daughter is really into music and absolutely loved it there. She took so many pictures of all the things they had there. I sure do miss the hard rock in Seattle!

On a side note, I was extremely sad when they closed the Seattle location, as I am close to one of their veteran bartenders. There were some great Hard Rockers in that cafe. Also, I am so glad you took a tour of our second floor and saw all of the amazing memorabilia we have on showcase, as a lot of our guest don't check it out.    We ordered steaks and 3 of our orders came out over cooked. They were great about sending another steak but the wait was long.

   Took 20 minutes to get our first drink. Waitress was friendly and overworked. Taking so long was not her fault at all. There was some heavy metal teen bands playing at supper hour could not even hear uours lf think let alone talk to one another. The food was warm

   Our server Charmaine was excellent and got us in and out quickly when we told her we had theatre tickets. Inside was extremely loud so we asked to sit outside. Bar was backed up so food came before drinks. They were slammed with large parties. The managers and staff were all working extra hard.

   Our waitress had poor customer service. She took our order, came back with drinks, then it was 20 minutes before she came back to ask if we were “all set” even though we still hadn’t received our food, without telling us how much longer it would be. She asked what was wanted on the burger, she was told no cheese, the burger still came out with cheese. We couldn’t ask her to fix it however, because she did not come back again for the duration of our visit. We had to ask another server for our check, because we waited an additional 15 minutes after telling her we wanted our check without her returning. Then, once we had the check and were ready to pay, we waited an additional 20 minutes before finding someone else to pay our tab, because again she had not come back.
