   Another amazing experience at Millcroft!! Dining experience was amazing as usual, food was great again as usual, cocktails delicious! Our waiter Fred is a national treasure!

   The homemade ravioli was very well presented and delicious. The drinks were also very good and the speed of service was quite quick. The best aspect was the ambience and overall vibe of the restaurant, which felt so warm and welcoming. Quiet music, beautiful lighting and wood building, christmas decorations etc.

   The service was impeccable. We are not “foodies” so we did not appreciate the exotic nature of the menu however the homemade ravioli was delicious but only 5 medallions. The dessert which was billed as amazing by the staff was peculiar; a unique combination of chocolate ( cake?) with homemade fruit ice cream/sorbet and compote which I did not feel complimented each other. Very expensive dinner but unique and the ambiance and service excellent!

   We fully enjoyed our experience. Fred, our server was amazing. Food was exceptional. It is very rare that we spend that much money on a meal because it can be very disappointing if we feel we didn’t get value for our money. We believe our experience was well worth the money and will be back for sure!

   The food was not fresh. The short ribs we had were dry and served lukewarm. Not worth the price. Although we’ve come here times in the past, i think it’s past its prime.

Keep an eye in the winter for a few special events that are coming up. The Winterlicious Menu, starts on November 25th and runs until December 13th. Lunch time only 12pm to 2:30pm.    Awesome meal for our anniversary. Food was excellent. Pricey. Nice romantic restaurant. Service terrific; Fred was an excellent waiter. Nice to go for a special night.

   The spa experience was good. Unfortunately the restaurant experience was very disappointing. There was nowhere to have a drink before dinner, not sure if that was because there was a wedding going on, or because the dinging room did not open before 5:00. The view of the waterfall from our table was mesmerizing and the staff were very welcoming. Unfortunately, the meal was disappointing and overpriced. We ordered the beef tenderloin, which came with one small carrot and one mini sliced potato. Regretfully, I would have to say that I would not come back there because of the dining experience.

    Headwaters was really lovely. We stayed at Millcroft for our anniversary as a quick overnight. The food (taste) and service was incredible. The amount of food you get for price could be improved but was really good. We were unfortunately not seated at the best table, there were bright lights shining in our faces but they did dim/turn them off when we asked. All in all, would recommend to go and experience it at least once.
