    Great experience. Much different than last night. Awesome scallops. Cooked perfect. So tender . Like eating a pat of butter. The petit filet was cooked perfect. Wish it was this good every time.

    My wife ordered the king crab legs. Excellent choice. I ordered them petit filet. Terrible choice. The cut presented looked nothing like a center cut filet. It was the fibrous end of a low grade tenderloin. I could not cut it with the steak knife. I ordered medium. It was well done. Only an amature would have presented that as a center cut filet. A center cut filet. That's what anyone would expect at a high end steak house called Hugh Steaks. Quite frankly a center cut filet one should not need a steak knife to cut it. The manager just happened to stop at our table to see how things were going. She was appalled to watch me cut the steak. She promptly took the plate and replaced it with another filet that was being prepped for another customer. This poor performance in preparing a protein continues to be a problem with this restaurant over the 10 years we have been coming here. You never know what you will be served. The only reason we keep coming back is because my wife has sertain diet restrictions and they do a good job of accommodating her. The price they charge should be an example of the skill set of the kitchen staff. Sadly that is not the case at Hugh Steaks. More like Low Steaks at times.

    My wife and I have been to High Steaks MANY times. We mostly go there for the oysters. Tonight I took my wife there for her birthday, she loves oysters. When we got there, the server told us they were out of oysters. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!
