                              Food is consistently amazing. It’s a classic for a reason. It’s loud in there so think about seating as yelling across the table is challenging. The beginning of the meal felt rushed this time but it did not detract from the experience, we just needed to slow ourselves down vs giving in to how quickly the service was moving us.

                              Superb prime house in SF… Busy family and friends darker cherry wood steak house atmospheres and milieu. Prime rib is clearly 5 STAR!! Not so much into their creamed spinach… they really need to update its flavor and freshness in a way… BUT otherwise… u can get creamed corn… although I like really tasty creamed spinach 😇

                              Food was good as usual but the service was lacking. There was an extremely loud, obnoxious large group next to us that were clearly overserved & drunk. There was gum under the table that got on my pants. The server just apologized. I think we may have to try Harris for our next gathering.

                              It’s an icon for a reason! It’s difficult to make reservations because it’s booked for months but be diligent because the whole experience that is HOPR is worth it. The staff is excellent and the place is a well oiled machine. Love this place!
