It wasn’t what I expected for a high end steak house. Felt like a throw back to the 80’s with their menu especially the sides. Sides were a bit overwhelming with their taste (mushrooms and lobster mac). We never really got to eat the steak. The first round was overcooked to well (requested medium). Second round wasn’t much better. We ordered filets and they were cooked on a grill instead of a skillet so the outside was going to be over cooked anyway. Didn’t have the filet texture. More like sirloin. Bernaise was reheated so the egg was “broken” and sauce was stiff. I was really excited to bring my family here for dinner on our last night of our trip to Arizona. Disappointed that we didn’t enjoy our meal. I’m sorry I had to write this review. Was hoping for a better outcome.

Hunter and Quentin were a wonderful service duo. So attentive! Hunter recommended a wonderful wine and Quentin made sure that my little guy loved his kids chicken by getting sauce and Parmesan and creating a whole new dish! Just great young guys! Fabulous place to eat. Beautiful views.

We were greeted promptly and seated by the manager. Our service by Michael and Chris was attentive, and they seemed to enjoy their work, which is very important to see, The Caesar salad was very nicely dressed, and well-seasoned. The chilled corn soup was excellent. Quite sweet, but not too much lemongrass, and it was complemented very well with heirloom tomatoes and lump crab meat. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked. We enjoyed the fries, but we felt it could be browned a bit more, and slightly crispier. The Dover sole was beautiful, and expertly deboned tableside. A French technique that was a joy to watch. We also enjoyed an affogato. The cheesecake was also well done. But it lacked textural contrast with the strawberry lychee sorbet. Adding the tuile from the affogato significantly improved the cheesecake. The sliced strawberries were lackluster, and detracted from the appearance of the dish. In all, a very good dinner.

We enjoyed a quiet dinner - just my husband and myself for his 55th and my 60th birthday. The service, the view and the ambiance here is amazing and impeccable! Had the seafood tower, calamari, a steak and the lobster Mac-n-cheese. Probably wouldn’t do the seafood tower again as I’m not huge fan of raw seafood and there was only 1/2 a lobster - so splitting that wasn’t much, but the shrimp and mussels were great! The steak was good, not best I’ve ever had though. Calamari was tasty and the Mac-n-cheese was VERY rich! The birthday dessert (molten chocolate cake, salted caramel ice cream was delish and probably the highlight! Good wine list too!
