My favorite steakhouse in AZ reasonable price for a fine dining experience. The service and food is a 5 star experience with an amazing view of the camelback landscape.

We went here on our anniversary and they sat us in the best spot and our server was amazing!! The filet was to die for. Will definitely be back!

This was not a high end steakhouse on the evening that we dined. The service staff seemed poorly trained. We felt unimportant. Even the general manager passed us by twice without even acknowledging us to visit with another guest seated ten feet from us. On the third visit he stopped. We sat at our table for 10-15 minutes after we had finished. The server walked by several times without even looking at us. At that point I saught out the GM to discuss our experience. Again even after a frank conversation with the GM inviting us back on him, which I declined, he came to our table and informed us that he was reducing our check by $100. If you were willing to host us again why not just pick up tonights check. Noting the food … my wife’s salad was delicious and my corn gazpacho was nice although it as described to include lump crab of which there might have been a teaspoon. We split a filet that was not finished well and over salted. We could not wait to leave.

First and foremost, I truly wish I could have given this restaurant a 4- or 5-star rating, as it is undoubtedly a beautiful and well-regarded establishment. However, there were a couple of experiences that left me disappointed. The primary concern was the behavior of the General Manager, Frank Armanetti. While I observed him personally greeting several tables throughout the dining room, he passed by mine multiple times without so much as a greeting—even after making direct eye contact. This lack of acknowledgment was both noticeable and disheartening, especially considering the high standard one would expect from such a reputable restaurant. This visit marked my first time in Scottsdale, AZ, celebrating my mother’s birthday and unfortunately, based on this experience, it may be my last time dining at this particular restaurant. On a positive note, our server, Corey, was truly exceptional—professional, friendly, and attentive. However, it did take approximately 45 minutes for our food to arrive after placing our order, which added to the overall disappointment. I did have a conversation with Frank immediately after the meal. He apologized and explained that he tries to greet everyone, and that it was certainly not his intention to make anyone feel excluded. On my next visit, he personally gave me his business card and asked that I contact him directly so he can ensure a more personalized and positive experience. I appreciated his willingness to follow up and take accountability. All in all, while there were a few bumps in the experience, I do appreciated the effort made to address my concerns.

It wasn’t what I expected for a high end steak house. Felt like a throw back to the 80’s with their menu especially the sides. Sides were a bit overwhelming with their taste (mushrooms and lobster mac). We never really got to eat the steak. The first round was overcooked to well (requested medium). Second round wasn’t much better. We ordered filets and they were cooked on a grill instead of a skillet so the outside was going to be over cooked anyway. Didn’t have the filet texture. More like sirloin. Bernaise was reheated so the egg was “broken” and sauce was stiff. I was really excited to bring my family here for dinner on our last night of our trip to Arizona. Disappointed that we didn’t enjoy our meal. I’m sorry I had to write this review. Was hoping for a better outcome.
