   I had salmon croquetas and miso sea bass, both off the chef special menu. Both were delicious, the only thing I was disappointed about was that I didn't get to try the seafood pasta too. Walked away stuffed and happy.

   I made a last minute reservation to be sure my wife and I could get a table. We had only been here once before over 2 years ago. I marked down we were celebrating a birthday. We got sat after a few minutes of checking in. They decorated our table & left a birthday card for my wife. The service was amazing! Absolutely loved our server, Megan! Honestly best steaks we ever had. Overall experience was impeccable! We will be back

   Server and manager were both impatient in getting us to finish our meals and leave even though it was not yet 9pm. A shame as the rest of the experience was excellent.

   The staff went to extra care for us to celebrate our anniversary. We had a candle and hearts on the table. The entrees were magnificent. Dessert was on the restaurant and out waiter was the best.

   Overall a remarkably mediocre meal. Came for my birthday and probably wish I hadn’t. Got the artichoke dip as an appetizer and it was objectively terrible. Salty, the artichoke peels were weird, and almost like it had split. Entrees took forever to come. When they came, two had the wrong sides and all of it had clearly been sitting for a while. Our table got 4 steaks and a scallop dish and every one was overly salty and kinda cold. Got the birthday desserts to go, carrot cake and chocolate cake, and both are super meh. Overall a really slow and disappointing meal.

   J Gilberts never disappoints! Excellent food, excellent service. Scallops perfectly seared in a lovely light sauce, bread hot and delicious! Great place to celebrate a birthday! Be sure to join their loyalty club to receive $25 off for a birthday meal!

    We had reservations and weren’t seated until almost 40 minutes past our reservation time. They were grossly overbooked. Excuses were given about tables taking too long, etc. It was a Friday night - it will be busy- but we’ve never had to wait even 15 minutes past a scheduled reservation. My guess - someone let in too many walk-ins before the onslaught of reservations showed up. The gentleman in a suit, I’m assuming the manager, was at least polite. The same can’t be said for the THREE other people who were standing up front. The gentleman with the longer earring was just rude and condescending. And the employees talking amongst themselves up front about clients should know even when they think they’re being quiet- the clients can hear them. Ridiculous - they knew they were behind and should have called everyone with a reservation to tell them to come later versus standing in an overcrowded and freezing waiting area. We finally got seated and our table was dirty and it took quite awhile until our server came. I ordered a steak well done and it was charred . There is NO WAY that not only the cook didn’t know they were sending out something far over cooked but even the person who brought it out. By this point, we gave up . We said nothing…but we will not be back.
